I am a typical Southerner. My priorities are God, family and football. Actually, radio edges out football on the priority list, but I had to get in a “Roll Tide” somewhere.
I caught the media bug very early in life since my family owned and operated a radio station in the small town of Fayette, Alabama. I was “on-air” by age 12!
Christ called me to Himself during a funeral for a classmate in 8th grade. I became serious about my relationship with Jesus and accepted a call to full-time ministry in 1992.
My life passage is II Timothy 1:6-7 which says, “ For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”
Trey, my husband of 15 years, homeschools our children and does freelance IT work. Ashley is 13, and Thomas is 10. We are extremely blessed to have a family that’s grounded in God’s Word.
