WallBuilders founder David Barton will speak at Orchard Hills Baptist Church Saturday, September 18th. The church will serve a country breakfast at 9am for $5 per person. David will speak at 10am.

Having appeared on Mike Huckebee and Glenn Beck shows, Time Magazine named him as one of America’s 25 most influential evangelicals. David heads Wallbuilders, a national pro-family organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious, and constitutional heritage. His exhaustive research has rendered him an expert in historical and constitutional issues often serving as a consultant to state and federal regulators.

Do not miss this opportunity to be inspired and to stand up for what we believe. For more information go to www.orchardhillschurch.com to register or call Rita at 678.954.9180.

September 18th is Heroes Day, a salute to the heroes who take care of us every day. This year, we particularly recognize those defending our freedom, and those who responded to the September 2009 floods. Our everyday heroes include fire/EMS, police, Sheriff, active military and reserves, veterans, E-911, and teachers. During the afternoon, we will take time to salute each of these, and many of them will have exhibits for you to visit. Please do not pass up this opportunity to say “thank you” for their service. We will start off the afternoon with a remembrance of those we lost last September and we will celebrate those who helped us survive.
